A wine inventory app for couples and shared households

HomeSomm is a wine inventory app built for two people sharing one cellar. Premium covers the whole household for one price, the invited partner costs nothing extra, and stock syncs in real time, so a bottle opened on Friday is gone from both phones before the cork is out.

Why every other wine app assumes one person

InVintory, Enolisa, CellarLog, Cellar AI, and CellarTracker are all personal journals. Their data model has one owner, one palate profile, one tasting history.

Households do not work that way. Two people buy, two people drink, and the list goes stale the moment only one of them maintains it.

How household mode works

You create the household and invite a partner by email. They get their own login, and the cellar is shared, not copied.

Both of you can add bottles, drop a count after dinner, and write notes. Every change is visible on the other phone immediately.

  • One Premium subscription, the whole household, no per-seat pricing
  • Unlimited bottles on every plan, free included
  • Real-time sync of quantities, so nobody double-counts a bottle
  • Finished bottles stay in history with your notes and scores
  • Tonight's picks read the whole household wine rack, not one person's list

The everyday case

One of you is cooking, the other is in front of the wine fridge. Type what is for dinner and get two or three bottles you actually own, ranked with the drinking window in mind.

That is the whole product. No palate quiz, no 3D cellar map, no valuation report.

Frequently asked questions

Do both partners need to pay?
No. One Premium subscription covers the whole household, and invited members join free. Household invites are a Premium feature; the free plan is a single user.
Can we both edit the same cellar?
Yes. Both users add bottles, adjust quantities, and write notes on the same shared inventory, and changes sync in real time.
What happens if we split the collection later?
Each account keeps its own login, and the household owner can remove a member at any time. Your own notes and scores stay attached to your account.
